Music Therapy
Children and adults of all ages can find solace and inspiration in music. Working with a board certified music therapist, treatment can feel like play, providing a non-threatening opportunity to meet developmental milestones or support mental health. Music therapy and/or adaptive lessons; telehealth available. All ages – for groups, families, individuals. Live online with some NYC or Miami area in-person options.
Music Lessons
Our professional musicians are also experienced teachers offering private lessons for beginners of all ages on Piano, Guitar, Voice. It’s never too late to bring music into your life! Audition prep for music schools or musical theatre available. Adaptive lessons for students with disabilities are also available with our music therapy team. Best for ages 6 and older. Live online with some NYC or Miami area in person options.
ASL & SLP
Learn to sign at any age! We offer 1:1 or group classes for kids and adults of all ages, hearing or deaf, looking to learn or refresh your ASL. In our immersion program, teachers are Deaf/native ASL users. Become familiar with the Deaf community and culture while learning an incredible 2nd language. If you have a Deaf child or family member, this is a wonderful addition to our signature kids classes. Our teachers of the Deaf, Speech Language Pathologists, and ASL instructors (Deaf & hearing) also provide in-school and after school sign language instruction. ASL for all ages including adult-only classes.
Music & ASL
Learn new songs and sing your favorites as you learn signs from ASL to support language development, self-expression, and bilingualism. See the research come to life, as music and sign language both aid in the development of language and literacy. Choose from curriculum designed for babies and toddlers with a grown-up, preK and school age students, teens and young adults who might benefit from this creative way to learn a visual language (including Sign & Song for babies/toddlers, Creative ASL for teens with disabilities). Our students are hearing and Deaf, with and without special needs. Ask us about bringing this program to your day care center or preschool; NYC area and live online options.
Music for Tots
Through new and familiar songs, bubbles, music and movement, instrument and parachute play, and more, we foster socialization, self-expression, communication, and motor development. Even live online, your little one will be inspired to sing and dance along. Best for crawlers and up (6 – 36 months). Available for home-hosted families and groups in the NYC or Miami areas.
For younger babies, we incorporate Tummy Time in our Music for Tots classes. Tummy Time maximizes development of head control, neck and trunk strength in preparation for crawling. This is a key time for babies to orient to their surroundings and engage with you or independently in quiet play. We offer ways to share music and singing with your baby, whether it’s traditional nursery rhymes and lullabies or folk and pop songs. Our special class incorporates music and developmental movement, providing support for baby and grown up alike. Best for pre-crawlers (2 – 9 months). Available for home-hosted families and groups in the NYC area.
Infant Massage
Bond with your baby through therapeutic touch. Learn strokes to aid in digestion and sleep, and so much more. Our founding director is a Certified Educator of Infant Massage with NICU experience. Songs and sign language included upon request. Best for newborn to pre-crawlers; pre-term infants welcome! Available for home-hosted families and groups in the NYC area.
