Group Classes
Baby Fingers offers creative sign language and music classes for Deaf and hearing students of ALL ages. Our programs are not just for babies, in fact many we create classes and individualized programs for toddlers, children, teens and adults.
Music and Sign Language together create a powerful, multi-modal approach to early childhood learning. Music is highly motivating, while also offering a calming and relaxing effect that helps children feel safe and supported. When paired with American Sign Language (ASL), music becomes an even stronger tool for communication, connection, and growth.
Through music and sign language, children can:
-
Ease transitions with predictable rhythm and movement
-
Strengthen memory and language skills
-
Build self-esteem and confidence in communication
-
Foster stronger family and peer relationships
-
Develop expressive and receptive language through ASL
-
Experience learning through both sides of the brain for maximum impact
Because the brain processes music across both hemispheres, combining music with ASL and play-based learning heightens opportunities for language development, social-emotional growth, and parent-child bonding.
